Steven Roberts of St. Louis: Speaking Out

Steven Roberts of St. Louis works tirelessly to advocate for those without a voice, speaking out, authoring legislation and taking action for those in the most need.

As the representative of Missouri’s 77th District and candidate for the Missouri state Senate, Roberts is committed to fighting for meaningful change that strengthens communities throughout the community.

Speaking Out

Recently, Steven Roberts spoke out on the issue of racial injustice in The Missouri Times, publishing a lengthy op-ed on the 2017 beating and death of Tori Sanders in Mississippi County, Missouri.

In the piece, Roberts decried the inaction of the Missouri Attorney General’s Office regarding the Sanders tragedy. He also took pains to contrast the Sanders case with that of the McCloskeys, which has seemingly garnered much more interest and shown what the attorney general deems worthy of attention.

Roberts continues to speak out and work passionately for the people of St. Louis – as well as to point out injustice, inequality and disparity wherever it may exist.
